Tamago Cafe
Tamago Kissaten is a coffee and pastry shop that makes French and Japanese desserts, combining 2 different gastronomic cultures through Asian flavours.
The name Tamago means 'egg‘ in Japanese and it is an essential ingredient in almost every dessert.
When creating the space, we were inspired by the aesthetic of Japan, and as a basic image we used the metaphor laid down in the drawings of the flag of this country - the scarlet sun that rises over the land and paints the sky with a gradient of purple rays. This image is embodied in the interior in large and small details.
Inspiration
All the elements in the interior are not random - the cast round table symbolises the sun, whereas the curved lamps are a reference to the outline of the Japanese mountains. The gradient-treated walls evoke the sky at sunrise, combined with the chipped tiles typical ofJapanese roofs.
A unique team
and dedicated teamwork made it possible to realise our idea perfectly - gracefully, but at the same time in the spirit of time, trends, and Japanese minimalism.
